Dorothy A. Buganski, 91, of Eldora, passed away on March 14, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis and Mary Schweibinz, she has lived in this area since age 8, spending the last 35 years in Eldora. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church in Woodbine. She was a correspondent for the Atlantic City Press, Cape May County Gazette, and the Cape May County Times. Formerly a Cub Scout Leader, she worked at Feit's Clothing Factory before owning and operating the E. Dorado Motel for the last 35 years. She loved to travel whenever she could. Hawaii was her favorite place to visit.
Mrs. Buganski is survived by her children, Dorothy (Frank) Cifoni of Belleplain, Lillian (Bill) Royle of Petersburg, and James (Sandee) Buganski of Millville; her brother, Richard (Betty) Schweibinz of Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob; her daughter Frances (John) Lewis; her brothers Joe, John, and Francis Schweibinz; and her sisters Agnes Youcum and Lillian Schweibinz.
Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, March 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor. Memorial donations may be made to the Belleplain Emergency Corps, 138 Washington Avenue, Belleplain, NJ 08270.
