Since 1937, the Gangemi Funeral Home has served our Philadelphia community
with pride and dignity. Our family has served the area for nearly
70 years and has every reason to believe we will be around for the next
70 years to serve you too.
We put forth great effort to help our
families create a meaningful funeral ceremony to celebrate a life
lived, as well as assisting our families through the difficult and often
confusing tasks that are associated with the death of a family member. Facilities
Our facilities are second to none when it comes to space and convenience
for serving our families. Our facility offers 2 large chapels, conference
room, handicap accessible bathrooms, and a new selection room for making
casket selection.
Selection Room
After much research and fact-finding, we concluded that the fractional
selection room that we now offer was the best choice for our client
families. We recognize how difficult and uncomfortable the full size
casket selection room was to our client families. The new fractional
display room is less intimidating, user friendly and easily understood.
We invite you to stop by and take a look at our facilities and selection
room.
Pre-Arranging
Pre-arranging can make the funeral process a bit easier for family
and friends if you choose to pre-arrange. This means that you
will make all the decisions based on your own wishes. Your family will
not have to face this difficult task while burdened with grief. Pre-arrangement
is an opportunity for you to make difficult decisions while emotions
are at rest, have your wishes and budget written and on file at
our funeral home.
Pre-arranging doesn’t necessarily mean pre-paying.
Although prepaying is quite popular and another added convenience
of pre-arranging, it is not required to do so. Staff
Our professional staff is accustomed to arranging funerals with respect
to all religious beliefs, customs and ceremony. We work hand-in-hand
with the local churches and clergy to be certain that the services we
are providing will make a difficult time a bit easier to get through.
