McGinnis, Nicholas M.

  McGinnis, Nicholas M., age 17, of Galloway Township, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2001. He was born in Atlantic City and graduated from St. Nicholas Grammar School in Egg Harbor City “Class of 1998”, where he played basketball. He was going to enter his senior year at St. Augustine Prep in Richland, where he was a member of the French Honors Club, Track Team and Chess Club. He served as manager for St. Augustine’s Basketball Team and was going to be this year’s Football Team manager. Nicholas is survived by his parents, Mark and Martha McGinnis of Galloway Township; his brother, Adam McGinnis of Galloway Township; his sister, Becky McGinnis of Galloway Township; his grandmother, Jannae McGinnis of Galloway Township. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Willwood McGinnis. Also surviving are his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2001 at 12:00 Noon at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (609-965-0357), where visitation with family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Germania Cemetery.
